History
Our department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering can find its origin in shipbuilding department, Osaka Technical School in late 19th century.
NAOE department is one of the oldest in the School of Engineering, Osaka University.
Since then, our department has produced many prominent engineers and scientists.
