The research results on the gyroscopic wave energy converter have been published.
Associate Professor Iida’s research on a gyroscopic wave energy converter has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Fluid Mechanics, top journal in the field of fluid dynamics.

In this paper, a coupled wave–floating body–gyroscope fluid analysis is conducted for the gyroscopic wave energy converter, and it is theoretically demonstrated that the system can achieve maximum energy conversion efficiency independent of wave frequency.
