The 1st OCEANS Workshop
On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, the “1st OCEANS Workshop” was held at Osaka University (Suita Campus). We were honored to welcome Prof. Takeo Kanade (Member of the Japan Academy and Founders University Professor at Carnegie Mellon University) as our keynote speaker. He offered invaluable insights on how to make research and development both enjoyable and impactful, which greatly inspired the participants. Following the keynote, presentations and discussions were held on OCEANS’ research concepts, and researchers from The University of Osaka and the Joint Research Course introduced their ongoing research activities. The workshop also provided a productive opportunity for networking among students and industry partners, generating new ideas and possibilities for collaboration.
