Location of Kitakyushu International Conference Center
The 12th International Conference on Offshore and Polar Engineering (ISOPE-2002) will be held in the Kitakyushu International Conference Center, which is very close to JR Kokura Station and Rihga Royal Hotel Kokura (within 10-minute walking distance) as you can see from the below photograph.
If you are wondering how to come to Kitakyushu (JR Kokura Station) or the nearest International Airport (Fukuoka Airport), please have a look at this page for your understanding. If you are Japanese, there is no need to tell you about Kitakyushu.
