- Used for periodic broadcast transmissions of repeatable character (such as position reports, differential corrections...).
- Used by base stations only.
- Pre-configured transmission schedule. Does not change slots until re-configured.
- Mobile stations will avoid slots, occupied by a base station, thus preserving integrity and improving base station throughput.
